Shravana Masam: Somavara Rudrabhishekam, Homams & Bilwarchana – August 17, 24, 31, and September 7 – 2026

Dedicated to Lord Shiva in His Rudra Form
The Rudrabhishekam is one of the most powerful and ancient ways to worship Lord Shiva, who is revered as Abhishekapriya—the one who delights in abhishekam. This sacred ritual, performed on Shravana Mondays, is hailed in all Vedic scriptures as a means to remove sins, neutralize doshas, fulfill desires, and bring all-around peace and prosperity.

Every Monday during Shravana Masam, the Panchamukhi Shiva Lingam is worshipped through abhishekam with sacred items such as milk, yogurt, honey, ghee, sugar, and bilwa leaves. This is followed by Shodashopachara Puja, Vedic homams, and bilwapatra archana to Sri Mahalakshmi and Sriman Narayana.
