Complete Pitru Shanti Seva
$501.00
Mahalaya Amavasya, the concluding day of Pitru Paksha, is the most sacred occasion to honor and offer gratitude to our ancestors (pitrus). Scriptures declare that offerings made on this day grant peace and liberation to departed souls, while bringing blessings of health, harmony, and prosperity to the family.
At Sri Manidweepa Mahasamsthanam, Mahalaya Amavasya will be observed with Annadanam, Go Seva, and Sankalpa Archana performed in Devi’s sanctum. Vedic priests will take the sponsors’ names, gotram, and ancestors’ names in sankalpa, praying for pitru shanti and family well-being.
- For devotees who wish to make a comprehensive offering, this seva includes:
Gau Puja in the Gaushala - Annadanam
- Special Sankalpa Archana in Devi’s sanctum
Together, these sevas invoke Devi’s grace for the peace of ancestors and the upliftment of the entire family lineage.
Special Instructions for Sponsorship Orders
Before each homam or puja is performed,, a “sankalpa” is recited in Sanskrit, a divinely powerful language. Sankalpa is a special process involving Vedic incantations that energetically connect you and your family directly to any ritual. When our names are included in a sankalpa, we become spiritually connected to the power of the divine ceremony and receive its full benefits immediately, just as if we were physically present.
In the section before below, please enter the name of the primary person for whom the festival is being sponsored. This name will be recited during the sankalpa. Please list up to THREE additional names and nakshatras only. It is not necessary to list all family members’ names, as they will automatically receive blessings through the primary sponsor. Use ‘Saha Kutumbasya’ if you have more than three sankalpa names.
If you know the primary sponsor’s nakshatra (Vedic birthstar), you may enter it below. If you don’t know the gotra or nakshatra, it’s fine to leave this blank.
You will not receive prasadam for this order.
