Sahasra Modaka Ganapathi homam performed to please Kethu and hence anyone who has Kethu dasa or bhukti or wishes to appease Kethu, can participate in the Sahasra Modaka homam.
Each Modaka is hand made in the days leading up to the ceremony and will be individually offered to fire while chanting the sacred mantra Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha. Sponsoring this homa wipes out difficulties and obstacles in all aspects of life, blesses us with spiritual elevation and all kinds of wealth. Especially people starts all rituals by performing Ganapathi Homam.

Before each homam or puja is performed, a “sankalpa” is recited in Sanskrit, a divinely powerful language. Sankalpa is a special process involving Vedic incantations that energetically connect you and your family directly to any ritual. When names are included in a sankalpa, we become spiritually connected to the power of the divine ceremony and receive its full benefits immediately, just as if we were physically present.
In the section before below, please enter the name of the primary person for whom the festival is being sponsored. This name will be recited during the sankalpa. Please list up to THREE additional names and nakshatras only. It is not necessary to list all family members’ names, as they will automatically receive blessings through the primary sponsor. Use ‘Saha Kutumbasya’ if you have more than three sankalpa names.
